What I Want High School Students to Know
When I was in high school I wish I knew about appeal letters. The fact that I can argue for more money makes so much sense and I wish I knew about it sooner. My advice would be to take advantages of all these scholarship opportunities. Apply to ALL of them! If you need more advice, talk to your Money Mentor or sign up here: https://www.money-mentor.com/
The Best Class I’ve Taken So Far
The best class I have taken is Computer Science I. It really opened my eyes to the Computer Science field and had literally the best professor I've ever taken, Dr. Szumlanski. It was an unforgettable experience.
My Plans for After I Graduate
After I graduate I hope to take advantage of all the skills I've learned over the past few years and put them to good use. Hopefully make a change in the lives of people across the world.
Working at Money Mentor
I decided to join Money Mentor the moment I realized the impact they have on their students. As a Money Mentor, I have had the opportunity to personally help so many students and I’ve only worked here for a short time. There are so many students that are incredibly grateful for what we do but one student really stood out to me. She felt as though there was no chance she was going to be able to afford college but when I showed her some of the opportunities she had through the FAFSA and scholarships she was ecstatic. She told me that I truly made her day when she was down in the dumps and that made me smile.
