One Money Mentor on why she works at NextGenVest
By Amanda Draper, National Content and Social Media Director at NextGenVest
How I’m involved
One of my favorite extracurriculars is a club called Project Sunshine. The goal of Project Sunshine is to give back to our community through various acts of community service, and I love it!
What I Want High School Students to Know
It's okay to ask for help! Ask your Money Mentor for any help concerning colleges, or sign up to get one for free here http://ngv.io/match.
How my College is Special
Rutgers has such a diverse community and it’s amazing because you are constantly meeting so many different people with different outlooks in life.
My plans for After I Graduate
After graduating from college, I hope to attend medical school and eventually become a Psychiatrist, who works with children and adolescents.
Working at NextGenVest
I am a first-generation college student, so I am the first person to go to college in my family. When I was applying to college, I was pretty much on my own while I was trying to navigate the entire college application process, so I know how stressful applying to college could be. So when I found out about this internship opportunity at NextGenVest where I would be a Money Mentor, I knew that I had to do it! I love using what I have learned throughout my college application process to help others navigate their own college application process and hopefully make the process a bit less stressful for them!
